Jan earned an MBA from the Wharton School & The Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania.
Jan Mende is a senior vice president in Callan’s Real Assets Consulting group, where she primarily covers the research of global private infrastructure, as well as secondaries, Asian real estate research, and timber. Jan is responsible for strategic planning, implementation, and performance oversight of clients’ real assets portfolios, and the evaluation of managers and their respective real asset products. Jan is a shareholder of the firm.
Prior to Callan in 2017, Jan was head of client relations at Capital Dynamics, a global private assets manager. She also held investment management roles at that firm in London, Switzerland, and New York where she was a portfolio manager for a real estate fund of funds, as well a client adviser on global infrastructure portfolio construction and manager selection.
Jan earned an MBA with a focus on real estate and a master of international studies with a major in East Asian studies and Japanese language from The Wharton School & The Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a BA from The College of William & Mary.
